Like stated above, Romraider has alot of good information. Again, you really need to just start reading before you even consider it. The ecu is all hex, if you know computers well, you will know what this means, (not that knowing computers has anything to do with tuning a Subaru), it does not understand "give me 20lbs of boost now!". You really need to do your homework, as when you go open source it's not like "Do X and you will get X power", its hundreds of tables with raw data. knock monitor/compensation, engine load management (stock map only monitors to X load) etc, etc, etc. There are several things in the map per individual car year that you have to change, know about before you even begin, i.e. Just taking our "directions" of what you need to do it, will not a tuner make you.
